Sports manager of Sunyani Technical University Evelyn Nsiah Asare is among the few to announce delight on calling to be served on Kotoko’s new Board of Directors as the Ghanaian giants take a new path in football administration.
It has been almost five years when Kotoko was run under the “Board of Directors” paradigm where after all this period until last Thursday the club’s administration has been sought under “Management Team” approach.
With investigations and auditing hitting the camp of the Ghana Premier side in past month, a new Board of Directors has been formed to drive Kotoko back to African club elite status.
Evelyn Nsiah Asare appears the only female on the newly formed and nine-member Board formed by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the owner and life patron of the club.
The Physical Education Tutor has taken to her Twitter handle to announce her delight ‘to serve such a great brand like Asante Kotoko’ having described her calling ‘honour’.
”It is an honour to be called upon to serve such a great brand like @AsanteKotoko_SC. I pledge to always avail myself whenever duty calls and to do my very best to help build a much greater Asante Kotoko SC. It is always a pleasure to serve my Kingdom and my King.”
The Black Princesses Welfare Manager is not new in football administration- (18 years of experience) after working in so many capacities at national levels.
She was appointed to the 2019 Normalization Committee Special Competition Organizing Committee- chaired by former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour.
