In 2018, Asante Kotoko managed to play the group stages of the Caf Confederation after crushing out Cameroonian side Coton Sport in the play-off.
With Ghanaian club’s attempt into the money zone become narrow to due poor multi-facet problems but finance is a major driven force, the GFA have decided to offer financial support to its teams for African club football.
“The Executive Council (EXCO) of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) has resolved to extend a $10,000 cash support to Hasaacas Ladies as the team prepares to make their debut in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions league, GFA statement reads.

“The GFA is committed to offering various kinds of support to stakeholders of the game to ensure success in all endeavors.
Hasaacas Ladies have arrived in Cairo and will take on Malabo Kings FC in their first Women’s Champions league game on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the 30 June Stadium.
“The GFA wishes the team best of luck in the quest to conquer Africa in the maiden edition of the champions League.

Hasaacas Ladies continue to receive many supports from Ghanaians as Women’s League Committee issue another top level of support after sending the Ghana Women’s Premier League champions goodwill massage through the GFA official website.
“Women’s Premier League Management Committee (WPLMC) and all Women’s football clubs in Ghana have sent sporting compliments, best wishes and goodwill messages to Hasaacas Ladies FC as the WAFU B champions begin their quest to conquer Africa, a preamble of the message reads.
“Having achieved a rare double feat in the 2021 season and going on to conquer the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B, there is no doubt that you are capable of extending your dominance to the entire continent.

“Remember that in Cairo, you are not only chasing your individual dreams and collective aspirations, but you represent the hope of the entire nation.
“Your achievement will be a reflection of women’s football in Ghana and by extension, WAFU Zone B, which you deservedly and proudly represent in Cairo”.
“That is why you have the WPLMC and the GFA’s unflinching support all through the competition.
As you play, play tough but fair, knowing that the entire football family in Ghana will be praying to back you to attain the ultimate aim of returning home with the coveted trophy. Good luck”
