Mamelodi Sundowns have done their business in the transfer market already but there are still one or two players they could sign.
With the January transfer window already underway, Sundowns have added Surprise Ralani from Cape Town City.
Only time will tell as they have over three weeks to conclude their transfer business.
Sipho Mbule was heavily linked with a possible move to either Sundowns or Kaizer Chiefs in the previous transfer window.
However, SuperSport United convinced him to stay, but for how long it remains to be seen as they know his ability and potential as a footballer.
Now, Sundowns don’t really need Mbule as they have a few quality players in his position but given their fixture congestion, they could be tempted to bring him on board.
If they cannot do it in this transfer window, Sundowns could come back for his services at the end of the season.
Teboho Mokoena is another SuperSport United player that was linked with both Sundowns and Chiefs at the start of the season.
His situation is different to that of Mbule though in the sense that SuperSport United have already confirmed that they will allow him to leave.
However, Matsatsantsa said that will ONLY be at the end of the current season although that could still change.
And that’s because Sundowns had already sent Bangaly Soumahoro to SuperSport United for assessment in the first half of the season.
That gesture could be seen as an attempt to sweeten a potential deal that could see Mokoena move to Chloorkop earlier than expected.
