Black Galaxies of Ghana left Egypt to Algeria earlier today to continue with preparations towards the 2022 African Nations Championship.
Coach Annor Walker’s men had a great training tour in Cairo where they spent almost two weeks and engaged in some high profile friendlies.
They humbled the Egypt U20 side by 2-0 in their first friendly game before wrapping up with a precious 3-1 win over African giants Al Ahly.
The team will held series of training sessions as they look to acclimatize to the whether condition even before the commencement of the competition.
The home-based national team will face Algeria in another warm up friendly on Saturday, January 7, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
The Black Galaxies are drawn in Group C together with holders Morocco, Sudan and Madagascar. The competition starts on January 13, 2023.
