The morale booster verdict Otto Addo has make heading into first WC game against Portugal

The head coach of the Ghana national team, Coach Otto Addo has expressed confidence in the preparedness of his players ahead of the first match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Later today, Thursday, November 24, in the evening, Ghana will face off with Portugal in a Group H encounter.

Ahead of the game, CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe paid a visit to the camp of the Black Stars on Wednesday to motivate the team.

Elated with the visit, Coach Otto Addo expressed his appreciation to the CAF president while adding that his players have worked very hard and will fight to make not just Ghana proud but the rest of Africa as well.

“I can assure you that they are working hard on and off the pitch, so I am very sure that we won’t disappoint our nation and Africa Ghana has shown in the past that they can compete at the highest level and when I see their training and look at how they played in recent games, I strongly believe that we can do some miracles,” Ghana coach Otto Addo said.

The Black Stars coach added, “As an African country, we know that it’s not only for our nation but for the entire continent. It is for us to represent our continent as best as possible and I can assure you that we will do it.”
