New signing Yaya Raman tipped to make huge impact in Ghana Premier League

Defender Abdul Yaya Raman has been tipped to make a huge impact in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Yaya Raman recently completed a move from lower division side Tema XI to premier league side Kalera United after signing a one-year deal.

The center-back is expected to play a key role in coach Kobby Mensah’s team. The 19-year-old’s manager Alex Akumey believes he has no doubt he will take the league by storm

“I have known Yaya Raman for some years now and he is one guy who is so determined and very dedicated to his work and I have no doubt that he will be great for Karela in the coming season,” he said.

Karela United are expected to make improvement on last season’s 4th place finish. The Ghana Premier League begins on September 9, 2022 as Karela face newly promoted side Tamale City in opening day.
