Black Stars forward Brandon Thomas-Asante having Ghana success at heart ahead of Angola clash

Sports/ Football (Kumasi, Ghana) Sep 3 (Futball Surgery Sports)- Black Stars forward Brandon Thomas-Asante has says he is ready to give his all and contribute to the intended success of the team as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

The Coventry City striker, who recently made his international debut against the Central African Republic in June, is eager to contribute to the national team’s success.

After training with his teammates at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, Thomas-Asante spoke to the media about his aspirations for the upcoming matches.

“I know on the pitch, I want us to be victorious, and when I come on, it’s more of an opportunity to make a difference. I’ve got that in my heart that I want us to be successful as a nation,” he stated.

“I have seen what we’ve done in the past, and we want to go on and achieve big things like that, and more so I’m ready to do my bit to contribute,” he added.

The Black Stars are scheduled to continue their preparations with a training session at the Baba Yara Stadium later today, wrapping up their training on Wednesday.

The team is set to kick off their campaign with a home match against Angola on Thursday, September 5, at 16:00 GMT. Following this, they will travel to Berkane, Morocco for their second Group F game against Niger on September 9.
