Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle raises confidence ahead of Olympic qualifier against Guinea

The Black Queens of Ghana will play as guests to Guinea in an epic first leg clash of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier at the national stadium in the capital, Conakry.

The game is a highly anticipated one and the Ghana senior women national team will definitely play their hearts out for a positive outcome before they head back home for the return encounter.

The Queens last appearance was in a double header international friendly against Senegal in April- a tie they won 3-0 and 1-0 respectively all at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
The team regrouped barely a week ago in Prampram and have been training intensively ahead of this encounter.
The squad arrived in Conakry on Thursday with notable names like skipper Linda Eshun, Ernestina Abambila, Grace Asantewaa, Doris Boaduwaa, Janet Egyir, Princela Adubea all included.
It will be fierce and a cagey encounter but the Ghana senior women national team will definitely play their hearts out for a positive outcome before they head back home for the return encounter.
Nora Hauptle is unbeaten since taking over the Queens having won all three matches she’s supervised so far, scoring seven goals and yet to concede.
She has reveled in a post match presser how desperate and determined her girls for a convincing win today;
“We have different task given to the players. Everybody has a role, positioning and game plan that they need to stick on. I demand my players mostly to work with cohesion, support each other and fight for each other,”
“These are the tasks and they know what to do for a sure win tomorrow.”
The game is slated for 16:00GMT this mid-afternoon
