Esperance de Tunis ace Anice Badri joins Saudi Arabia club Al-Ittihad on a two year deal
Tunisia international Anice Badri has joined Saudi Professional League side Al-Ittihad from Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
The Saudi side have enjoyed a difficult campaign in the Saudi Professional League this season where they sit just a place above relegation zone.
Ittihad have managed 4 wins, 2 draws and 8 defeats in 14 league matches, fetching them 14 points from a total possible of 42.
Ittihad have signed Badri, a Tunisian, to strength their attack as the Saudi club make a liable return to the top of the Saudi league.
Badri joins Ittihad on a two-and-a-half-year contract which runs until the summer of 2022, and is tipped to establish a superb partnership with Ittihad’s top scorer Romarinho- who have already bagged eight goals this season.
The 29-year-old has been a key player for Esperance this season as he scored 10 goals in 16 games across all competitions.
The former Mouscron player also guided Esperance to two CAF Champions League titles in a row in 2018 and 2019.
