Hearts of Oak begin second phase of pre-season training in Ashanti Region

Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak are in the Ashanti Region for the second phase of pre-season training.

In an official communique, the club has confirmed that the first of the pre-season training will be held this afternoon.

“The Accra Hearts of Oak team has pitched camp at the Ashanti Region to commence the second phase of our pre-season training program.

“The team is made up of a 50-man contingent comprising the technical team, players, the communications team, and the backroom staff. We have since arrived at our camps and will have our first training session this afternoon. This phase will last for a two-week period,” Hearts of Oak announced in a statement on Sunday.

The statement continues, “During this period, the team will prepare for the 2022 Super Cup of which we are the defending champions before going into our first premier league game against Aduana Stars at Dormaa for our first match in the 2022-23 football season.”

Next season in addition to fighting for laurels on the domestic scene will also attempt to make an impact while featuring in the CAF Confederation Cup.
