Cristiano Ronaldo considering leaving Juventus due to Bianconeri financial difficulty

According to latest reports from Italy, Cristiano Ronaldo is planning to end his four year spell at Juve due to club’s financial challenges from the coronavirus crisis.

The global health problem has incurred huge impacts on football with many European clubs struggling to balance their books due to affected cash flow emanating from suspension of the game.

Juve like many other clubs in Europe are battling financial implications of Covid-19 and have planned cutting down their wage bill in the disease’s crisis to ensure the sustainability of the club.

And with Juve players already accepting four months pay-cut, this is bound to cause Bianconeri a big loss in Cristiano Ronaldo.

Radio Rossonera now claims that the pay-cut by Juve players including Cristiano Ronaldo could force the former Real Madrid and Manchester United super star to leave Turin this summer.

The 35-year-old completed a four year transfer worth a fee of £88 million from Real Madrid to Italy in 2018, earning €30m ($34m/£26m) a year, meaning Ronaldo expects to take home €120 million if his four year stay in Turin ends.

However, the coronavirus pandemic appears to end Ronaldo’s four year contract sooner than expected having spent two years and have two more years to spend but could leave Italy.

In the presence of this development, the Portugal International has been linked with clubs in China and the United States and may relish the chance for a big payday elsewhere if Juventus can no longer afford him.

He has found back of the net 21 times in the Seria A before the season was halted back in March.
