Inter Milan interested in loan move for Manchester United flop Van de Beek

Inter Milan have reportedly shown interest in Manchester United flop Donny van de Beek according to latest reports in Italy.

The 23-year old has struggled to walk into Ole Gunnar Solskjær eleven making only two Premier League starts and ninth start across all competitions against Watford in the FA Cup third round on last Saturday.

Unlike many other top players who remain and fight for a starting position in elite clubs, van de Beek is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at Manchester United and want a move away from Old Trafford.

Inter Milan knee on giving the Dutch midfielder a relief in short term career struggle by offering him contract at San Siro in the opened transfer window. Inter meanwhile have had a good start to the Seria A placing second on the log behind AC as the Milan clubs fight to break Juve’s dominance in Seria A.

Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Arturo Vidal, Christian Eriksen and Roberto Gagliardini have been instrumental in Nerazzurri title chase though Romlelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez are the main men driving Conte’s side in this season.

Inter may still need reinforcement in midfield to strengthen the push for breaking Juve’s dominance and de Beek appears on their transfer shopping list to battle for the remaining season where Eriksen could leave.

While United are very unlikely to cash in on the former Ajax man this January, Inter have already commenced proceedings to bring the Dutch International to the San Siro on a loan deal.

It has been revealed by Football 365 and The Independent that Inter through sporting director Piero Ausilio have made contacts with Manchester United about the availability of van de Beek.

It is understood that the Premier League outfit have not issued a reply to announce their unwilling to let the former Ajax man leave this term or at the end of this season either.

If Inter Milan continue too see the silence or reluctant of Manchester United to sell van de Beek, Nerazzuri would consider alternatives with the likes of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and Juve’s Paulo Dybala heavily linked.

On de Beek’s future at United, Ole Gunnar Solkjaer assured the Dutch International of long stay at Old Trafford after the Manchester boss stating Beek is highly rated in the club.

“That’s another chance for him and, yes, I’ve spoken to him and reiterated and made him aware of how much we rate him.”

“I’ve answered this question so many times,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

“There’s so many examples of players needing a little bit of time, quality players. We have many examples ourselves and there are other clubs with examples. Sometimes it takes time.

“You don’t expect people who care for him to be quiet at times, especially when they want the best for them.

“Donny is going to play tomorrow. That’s another chance for him and, yes, I’ve spoken to him and reiterated and made him aware of how much we rate him.

“But he’ll play tomorrow and that’s a good chance again to kick on.”
