Hearts of Oak boss Kim Grant receives technical boost as club set new technical committee

Ghana Premier League side and 2004 CAF Confederation Cup winners Accra Hearts Oak have announced the formation of a new technical committee to assist boss Kim Grant, the announcement was made on Monday morning.

Grant has done a good job at the Accra based side since joining Hearts in November 2018, guiding the Rainbow boys to the semifinals of the Normalization Committee Special Competition Tier-One only suffering a 5-4 penalty defeat to Asante Kotoko June this year.

The former Black Stars player have worked under multiple duties at his current post at Hearts, and to relieve their boss from divided attention, Heart have set a new technical committee to assist Grant in player recruitment, monitoring the development of youth players and provide sporting advises to Grant.

The Committee include majority shareholder of Hearts of Oak Togbe Afede, Alhaji Braimah Akambi, Club’s Chief executive officer Frederick Moore, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, and NCC Chairman Elvis Herman Hesse.

Futball Surgery now understand that Hearts of Oak are preparing to win their first Ghana Premier League title since 2008-2009 season, and to build a formidable side to replicate their enviable record on the African continent in 2000 and 2004, winning the CAF Champions League and the Maiden Confederations Cup respectively.

The formation of this committee is one key strategy for helping to achieve these purposes.
