Hearts of Oak in negotiations with former Aduana Stars and Club Africain forward Derrick Sasraku ahead of the potential transfer

After the Ghana Football Association announcement of the imminent Ghana transfer window, cubs are prepared to enter into the market to acquire the services of top quality players.

One club who knee strengthening his squad is Hearts of Oak. The Accra based side are struggling in the Ghana Premier League with very little efficiency and efficacy from the striker department in particular.

It has been reported that the former Premier League champions are keeping their tabs on former Aduana Stars and Club Africain forward Derrick Sasraku.

It is now believed that the Premier League giants have already begun negotiations with the player, and the two parties have agreement in principle over a two year deal that will see the striker sign for Hearts.

Hearts of Oak who are placed 9th on the league log haven’t impressed this season in terms of goals scoring, managing only 10 out of 12 league games.

With the club been aware of their inability to bag in the goals, the Phobians have already make plans even before the transfer window is opened. They have signed former Bechem United and Al Hilal Omdurman forward Abednego Tetteh and are liable of adding Sasraku into their ranks.

The latter can have a very big impact in the capital given his experience gained in the Ghana Premier League before making a switch to the Tunisian Premier League in 2018.

He won the league title with Aduana in the 2017-2018 season, finding his name on the score sheet 10 times in 23 outings before signing for Club Africain in 2018.

Sasraku struggled to adopt to life at Stade Olympique de Radès, scoring only three goals in 20 games for the Tunisian giants. He now remains a free man after terminating his contract before coming down to Ghana last month.
