Morocco vs Ghana confirmed lineups as Amartey returns in four years while Hakim Ziyech dropped for Atlas Lions International friendly

Morocco and Ghana have announced their starting eleven to face each other in Farabat. Chelsea Champions League winner Hakim Ziyech has been named in Morocco’s substitute.

Charles Akonnor has started Daniel Amartey having the Leicester City man missed out for the Black Stars in four years. The defender had a good camping with Leicester this season.

He partners Nicholas Opoku in central defense while Andy Yiadom and Gideon Mensah operate at right and left back respectively. In front of them is Baba Iddrisu and Emanuel Lomotey in pivot roles.

Former Asokwa Depotivo star Joel Fameye plays out wide from the right flank, Samuel Owusu operate at the opposite side as Ajax ace Kudus Mohammed play central of the three men behind Jordan Ayew.

The lineup sees Black Stars captain Andre Ayew dropped to the bench as Jordan skippers against the Atlas Lions this evening.

Wydad Casablanca hot man Ayoub El Kaabi failed to be named in Halilhodzic’s eleven while former Zamalek winger Achraf Bencharki is one of the substitutes.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi and former Barcelona forward Munir Haddadi start against the Black Stars.
