BRAZIL 2019: Brazil set a tricky Semis against France in FIFA U-17 World Cup

Brazil defeated Italy 2-0 at Estadio Olimpico on Monday evening to earn a dicey Semi-final clash against flying France in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, who also brush aside Spain 6-1 earlier Monday.

Two goals inside the first 6 minutes and the  last 5 minute of the first half ensured that Brazil carry the day 2-0 on top of Italy, to send the Selecao through to their second consecutive Semi-finals from the last two editions of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Brazil broke the game’s deadlock 6 minutes after the start, haven seen the young Selecao organized a nice play down the left flank, which saw Lucas Pedro sent in Patryck through on goal, the Brazilian struck past Italy goalkeeper Marco Molla to give Brazil the lead.

On the 40’ minute, Peglow doubled the hosts lead, scoring from a tight angle at the right edge of the box. He received a Luca’s well played side-forward pass on the right edge, before shooting into the far left post, and into the net.

Brazil face France on Thursday 14th Nov. at Brazilia.
