Black Galaxies come back to beat Hearts of Oak 2-1 in friendly game

Annor Walker’s men put themselves into a tough test this time to narrowly edge out Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak in a warm up friendly.

The Black Galaxies came from a goal down at half time to beat the ‘Phobians’ by 2-1 in Prampram to maintain their invincible run since regrouping few weeks ago.

The Rainbow Club begun the game on a blistering note, having went into the first department as the better side and with the lead, kind courtesy Amankwah Baafi’s strike.
The Galaxies returned into the second half very well, and fought really hard to pull a hard-fought comeback thanks to goals from Bright Adjei and David Abagna’s penalty.
The game was really a highly competitive fixture and is one both teams will pick positives from as they continue to prepare towards their subsequent assignments.
The home-based national team are now unbeaten in their last four or five friendlies and will look to progress at the same pace to have them fully ready for the 2023 CHAN tournament which is slated for early next year.
Ghana is drawn in Group C alongside holders Morocco, Sudan and Madagascar.
