Senegal become the first country to qualify for 2022 Afcon after 1-0 victory over Guinea Bissau

Senegal have become the first country to qualify for 2022 Afcon tournament in Cameroon after beaten Guinea Bissau for second time in five days.

Sadio Mane from penalty and Opa Nguette struck in each half to hand Senegal a victory over Bissau in first leg in Senegal.

That victory sent the 2019 Afcon finalist to 9 points and hoped to qualify for Cameroon with a win in the second leg on Sunday evening in Bissau.

Aliou Cisse’s men did exactly what was expected of them beating Guinea Bissau to extend their lead to 12 points whiles unbeaten run from four games in Afcon qualifiers remain intact.

Sadio Mane struck the second time against Bissau in stoppage time after running through his opponent defense to tap the ball from inside the box into the next.

The victory means Senegal have qualified to Afcon with two games to end qualification proceedings.
