EXCLUSIVE: Alex Asante and Oti-Akenteng on continental assignment in 2020 Total CHAN Draw and CAF Technical Directors workshop
Alex Asante, Deputy General Secretary and Head of the National Teams department of the GFA will be present in Cameroon for the 2020 Total CHAN tournament draw on Monday and CAF’s inspection for this year’s competition.
Asante, who is a CAF Match Coordinator will join the CAF delegation to visit the various stadia and training facilities assigned for local base players’ tournament which kick starts 4th to 25th day of April 2020 in Cameroon.
On the other hand, Oti Akenteng, GFA Technical Director travels to Morocco for the CAF Technical Directors workshop.
The Workshop which began on Saturday is to discuss how to apply for coaching courses using the CAF CMS and how to apply the new CAF coaching convention.
Ghana’s Technical Director will present a technical report on the 2019 football season and the activity plan of 2020 season for Ghana’s footabll Association.

Host – Cameroon
Central Zone – Congo, DR Congo
Central-East Zone – Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania
North Zone – Morocco, Libya
Southern Zone – Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe
West ‘A’ Zone – Guinea, Mali
West ‘B’ Zone – Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo
The final tournament will be held from 4-25 April 2020 in the cities of Yaounde, Douala and Limbe.
