Chelsea boss Frank Lampard preparing a £50M deal to swoop Isco from Real Madrid in the January transfer window

Chelsea have their heads straight ahead of the January transfer window after CAS clearing the Blues from their two transfer windows ban by FIFA.

Chelsea current results, winning only a game in their last five Premier League games, have prompted Frank Lampard to rethink about his squad when next month’s transfer festive comes closer, and at least making few additions can salvage him from missing out from the EPL top four.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, Nathan Ake, Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland have all been linked in a January move to light up Chelsea’s season. In as much Lampard would welcome any of these names to Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea manager prefers very experience players at his up front department, and that gives him extra edge to fond a move for Neymar and the latest Isco.

Lampard knows very well that a deal for Neymar this January isn’t possible having already jokingly ruled out the possibility of bringing the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge. The English manager has turned his attention to Real Madrid Star Isco where latest reports claim Chelsea are preparing to table £50M for the Spaniard ahead of the January transfer window.

But that won’t come easy for Lamps after the Spaniard performance in the El Clásico. Madrid is ready to cash in on Isco though but they may demand more than £50M following the Spaniard’s impressive performance against Barcelona last Wednesday.

He was close to leaving Real Madrid at the start of the season after he was out of favor before the second coming of Zidane, and the arrival the French manager hasn’t guarantee him regular football either especially following the signing of Eden Hazard.

Isco has had some minutes under his belt under Zidane and his latest performance against Barcelona could be a turning point to walk back into Zidane’s eleven permanently but that is when Hazard still sits home injured.

With Hazard likely to return in January, Isco is ready to welcome a move away from Santiago Bernabéu if not this January in the summer, and Chelsea could be the destination where Frank Lampard can guarantee him a starting position.
