Christopher Netthey misses Kotoko’s Premier League game against Bechem United on Friday

Asante Kotoko host Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium, and the Porcupine Warriors will be without the star performer Christopher Nettey due to the right back’s accumulated yellow cards.

Nettey recorded his third card of the season when Kotoko lost to Aduana Stars at Dormaa. The right back was shown the yellow card after trying to walk out of the pitch prior to the start of the second half, in attempt to follow Juju instructions as we understood.

Unfortunately, Nettey’s side was the area Samuel Bioh exploited to grab the only goal of the game that saw Aduana Stars carry the day in Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League.

He remains the only player under Maxwell Konadu’s current squad who has featured in all 11 Premier League, but will be replaced this Friday.

His stunning performance earn him nominated for club’s player of the month of January but unsurprisingly lost the award to Justice Blay.

And veteran defender Augustine Sefa could be called into action when Kotoko play their first Premier League home game away from Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday night.
