CAF Champions League: Zamalek vs Esperance Confirmed Lineups Champion League Quarter-Final First Leg

Patrice Carteron has named a strong Zamalek eleven against Esperance de Tunis in their CAF Champions League quarter-final first leg at Cairo International stadium.

One change from the CAF Super Cup triumph eleven has been made with Mohamed Ounajem coming in for Youssef Obama in the final third.

Mohammed Abou-Gabal keeps the posts, Hazem Emam, Mohammed Hamdi and M. Alaa and Mohamed Abdel-Shafy are all there in the back four against Esperance this evening.

Mohammed Onajem, Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Super Cup brace hero Ashraf Bencharki complete the three behind lone striker Mostafa Mohamed.

At the receiving end, Esperance suffered a 3-1 defeat in the hands of their today’s opponents during the CAF Super Cup two weeks ago and will be looking to take a sweet revenge on the Egyptians this evening.

Moine Chaabani has made four changes to the side that lost in the Super Cup final. Chamseddine Dhaouadi, Iheb Mbarki, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane and Mohamed Ali Ben Hammouda replace Khalil Chemmam, Sameh Derbali, Kwame Bonsu and Bilel Bensaha respectively.

Moez Ben Cherifia is preferred to Rami Jridi and Sedki Debchi in posts whiles Ilyes Chetti, Raouf Benguit, Hamdou Elhouni and Ibrahim Ouattara have all maintained their positions against Zamalek this evening.
