Juve planning summer move for Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana

Serie A side Juventus are planning summer deal for Ghanaian International Kamaldeen Sulemana with Southampton willing to let winger leave for Turin due to their relegation.

Like many European clubs, Juve are prepared to reinforce their setup in summer ahead of the 2023-2024 football season.

Ghanaian International Kamaldeen Sulemana is among the host of players on Juve’s summer transfer list. Sulemana completed a club transfer record of £25 million to Southampton from French side Stade Rennes in the January transfer window.

Since his arrival at the Saints, Kamaldeen Sulemana has impressed in the English Premier League though the stats alone doesn’t speak high volume of the Ghanaian International.

Kamaldeen Sulemana, 21, netted only twice- coming against Liverpool in last day of the season and an assist in 18 EPL games but has been one of Saints’ forces since when he joined in January.

Kamaldeen Sulemana has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, West Ham, Leeds United and Crystal Palace before his display against Liverpool in last round of Premier League matches.

With his marvelous show against Jurgen Klopp’s side, knowledge held about the Ghanaian has grown in recent times with big gangs Liverpool, Inter Milan and Juve said to planning summer move for the 21-year old.

The former French Ligue 1 star grabbed brace against Liverpool in 4-4 tie at Saint Mary’s Stadium Sunday.

Juve meanwhile are preparing for a massive squad overhaul in summer with Kamaldeen Sulemana one of the energetic targets for the Old Ladies.

According to La Gazetta, Juventus would be looking for affordable options to replace their outgoing players amid a possible 120 million Euro revenue hit while adding youth and exuberance to fuel a fresh start.

Against this goal is the approach to bring Kamaldeen Sulemana to Turin- claimed La Gazetta but could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the player’s signature.

Juve didn’t only missed out on the Serie A title but also UEFA Champions League football next term due to points deduction. Their current status presents them with a appropriate option of a rebuilding project than galaxy of stars ready to compete for glories next season.

And given Kamaldeen Sulemana’s age, 21, the Ghanaian will be a nice fit for Juve.

Sulemana is listed alongside US Sassuolo’s French forward Armand Lauriente. The Frenchman also played for Stade Rennes in his youth career.

Sulemana is reportedly interested in the Serie A move and Southampton’s relegation to the Championship will give Juve a huge advantage in the Ghanaian’s deal.

The Saints are ready to let a number of their top performers leave in summer as they prepare for life in the Championship. Sulemana is one of the players Southampton will let leave if the right offer comes in.
