Ghanaian youngster Ernest Poku scores for Jong AZ Alkmaar against Real Madrid

Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Ernest Poku scored in Jong AZ Alkmaar’s 4-0 win against Real Madrid U-19 in the Uefa Youth League on Wednesday afternoon. 

Jong AZ Alkmaar immediately struck twice in a row in the opening phase. After 25 minutes Daniel Beukers had put the host ahead and three minutes later Real Madrid picked up the ball from their net. Ernest Poku made no mistake and shot the ball past Real goalkeeper Diego Pineiro after receiving a pass from Jayden Addai.

Young AZ quickly came back into the game in the second half. Jayden Addai was substituted in the 72nd minute.

Mexx Meerdink shot the ball wonderfully into the net to increase Jong AZ Alkmaar’s score to 3-0. Ernest Poku was substituted in the 80th minute.

In the absolute final phase of the game, Jong AZ scored their fourth goal through Daniel Beukers. The goal was is second in the encounter against the young Real Madrid side.
