Ronaldo and Talisca double hand Al-Nassr 3-1 come-back win over Istiklol in AFC Champions League
Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca lead Al-Nassr to second group stage victory in the Asian Champions League after Monday’s victory over Istiklol. Al-Nassr began their campaign with a 2-0 win over Persepolis in Tehran.
They hosted Istiklol at KSU Football Field and beat their opponents by 3-1 after 90 minutes in the second game.
Istiklol took the lead in first half stoppage time through Senin Sebai but Cristiano leveled on 66′ minute before Talisca double on 72nd and 77th minutes completed Al-Nassr’s 3-1 comeback.
Al-Nassr got 81 percent of ball possession against Istiklol’s 19 percent.
Al-Nassr lead Group E with 6 points from 2 games followed by Persepolis with 3 points having beaten Al-Duhail in the second round of matches.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his first AFC Champions League goal.
The Portuguese International has congratulated his teammates on social media platform X after the victory.
