Real Madrid unveil Jude Bellingham as midfielder wears no.5 shirt next season

Real Madrid’s new boy Jude Bellingham will wear the number five shirt next season following his unveiling in Madrid.

The former Dortmund midfielder has signed a 6-year contract for Real Madrid after three seasons in Germany.

The 19-year-old has become the most expensive British player of all time with the transfer fee at £115million.

Real Madrid beat the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Bayern Munich to the English International who has been Real Madrid bind since his move to Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham’s arrival was understood to push Fredi Valverde out of Real Madrid with Liverpool the Uruguayan’s most talked destination but Carlo Ancelotti’s side has reportedly rejected Liverpool’s bid for Valverde.

Bellingham’s no.5 Jersey was donned by French icon Zinedine Zidane.

Meanwhile, new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly come in for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are said to have had a £51m offer for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde rejected.

Bellingham, who has 24 caps for England, said upon his unveiling: “Hello Madridistas, I wanted to thank everyone who is here on the most important day of my life, on the first day at the biggest club in the world.
