Real Madrid: Zinedine Zidane preparing marquee overhauling at Santiago Bernabéu ahead of summer window

Real Madrid are prepared to make new additions into the current squad despite making two big names in Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic signing last summer.

But before that, Zinedine Zidane needs to do overhauling exercise in the playing body to raise fund and free up space for coming-in signings.

This puts the future of a number of senior members at the club in doubt as the French manager has decided to sell six members of his team squad accoding to Spanish outlet AS.

Luka Modric, James Rodriguez, Lucas Vazquez and Gareth Bale are the names put forward by the newspaper, while Marcelo – recently linked with Juventus – and Nacho may also be allowed to depart the Bernabéu Stadium.

Modric has been tipped to move to Italy where the Croatian midfielder is linked with a move to Inter and Milan but Antonio Conte’s side look the likeliest destination for the former Tottenham star due to Inter’s chances of booking Champions League spot for next season.

Bale is also linked with a return to the Premier League with Manchester United and Tottenham up in the air to fight for the signature of the Wales International but they face tough competition from French Ligue side PSG.

Meanwhile, Tuchel’s side knee giving James Rodriguez a new life at Parc des Princes whilst Lucas Vazquez and Nacho could be sold to Laliga clubs.

Real Madrid on the other hand have been linked with a host of quality players. Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Sadio Mane, Timo Werner and Kylian Mbappe could head to the Spanish capital in when the transfer window reopens in summer.
