Al-Hilal said in a statement carried by the media consultant of the club, in which it said: “Al-Hilal club protested officially, through the club’s Secretary-General, Dr. Hassan Ali Essa, to the referees’ committee’s decision to “CAF”, which assigned the task of managing the articulated match through which Al-Hilal received his Al-Ahly Cairo guest, to rule.

“Moroccan “Radwan Gayed”, referring to the poor history of the referee in his matches that he managed for Al-Hilal, the most recent of which was Al-Hilal’s match and its coastal star host in “Sousse”, during the first-leg round of the last year’s edition of the Confederation competition.

The statement continued: On that day, “Radwan Gayed” counted three penalty kicks for the owners of the land over the minutes “30”, “34” and “81” from the age of that match, through which he refused to count a penalty that was incomparable to Al Hilal after obstructing “Abu Aqleh” inside the region Forbidden, as Al Hilal included in its protest the activity of Moroccan referee in the Egyptian Football League.”

Al Hilal win against Al Ahly will see the Sudanese side go through to the quarter-finals of the 2019-2020 CAF Champions League.
