Manchester United tracking Real Madrid star James Rodriguez

According to report by AS, Manchester United are tracking Colombian super start James Rodriguez ahead of a possible move to Old Trafford this summer.

Rodriguez is one of the big-name players Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants to offload to free Los Blancos wage bill. He has been linked with a move to French giants PSG and a possible move to Juventus and Napoli.

However, the Spanish newspaper has reported that Ole’s side are monitoring the Madrid ace if they can land him this summer by involving want-away Paul Pogba.

James has struggled to fall into the class of Madrid legends since his arrival from Monaco in 2014 after having a successful world cup with Colombia in Brazil.

He bagged 29 goals out of 84 matches during his first three years at Madrid before he departed for a loan deal at Bayern Munich in 2017, and netted 14 times in 43 appearances for his two-year period at the Allianz Arena.

His current contract at Santiago Bernabeu expires at the end of next season, and Manchester United knee snatching the winger in a deal that they want to include French star Paul Pogba.

Pogba is no more seen as untouchable at Old Trafford and the Manchester club have already began life without their prize asset.

And that began with the signing of Bruno Fernandez from Sporting Lisbon. They have also identify Lazio attacking midfielder Milinkovic-Savic as direct replacement and now he could be used to land club’s top target James Rodriguez according to AS.

Pogba likes to play under his countryman Zidane at the Bernabeu Stadium and he would be welcome by the Madrid boss.
