Juventus swap deal for Chelsea midfielder JORGINHO dismissed by agent

Jorginho agent Joao Santos has denied rumours of the interest built between his client and Juventus and has revealed the former Napoli star could even sign a new contract extension at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri brought Jorginho to London right after the Italian manager agreed a deal to take over Chelsea’s coaching job from Antonio Conte in July 2018.

Although Sarri was on the lips of many Chelsea fans with his famous “SARRI BALL” before the manager even officially kicked started at Stamford Bridge, Jorginho was brought to immediate criticism.

However, the deep-lying play-maker has eventually earn the applauds of Chelsea supporters this season after showing much improvements in aspects of his game.

Sarri left Chelsea last season after lifting the UEFA Europa League title in Baku, and has been reportedly keeping his tabs on Jorginho, and reports in Italy have claimed there can be a possible union between Sarri and Jorginho at the end of this season.

Sarri is reportedly not impressed with his current midfielders and have asked juve to bring in his former play-maker, but Jorginho’s agent Santos has denied reports claiming there is no contract talks between him and the Italian outfits.

“Juventus? I read that, but I never had contact with them,” he told calciomercato.it. “Neither Sarri nor Fabio Paratici have ever called me for information on Jorginho. To date, I know absolutely nothing about this situation.

“The lad is very happy in London, where he is showing his worth and where he still has three more years on his contract. In fact, in July, there is the possibility of adding a fourth and opening negotiations for a renewal of the contract with Chelsea.

“We don’t know what the marketing strategies of Juventus are, but these are our plans for our future. And I repeat, to date, neither Juventus nor any other team has come forward.”

Jorginho has been one of Chelsea’s best players so far, establishing a nice partnership with Mateo Kovacic who arguably is Chelsea’s best player this season.

If Juve are to make official move for the Italian midfielder, Miralem Pjanic and Federico Bernardeschi could be involved in a swap deal.

Chelsea are long term admirers of Pjanic with the West London having tracked the Bosnian play-maker for two seasons now but Juve have ever resisted move for him at Turin.
