BARCELONA players unhappy about Arthur Melo exchange deal for Juve star Mirelam Pjanic

Barcelona players are reportedly unhappy about Arthur Melo move to Juventus according to latest reports from Spain.

The Brazilian has been instrumental in midfield for Barcelona since moving from Gremio in €31 million plus €9 million deal in 2018 with a €400m release clause. Arthur has played just two seasons of his 6-year contract  in Catalonia.

With four more years left on his current contract, the 23 year old Brazilian will leave sooner than expiration of his  remaining years after agreeing in principle to join Juventus in May- if nothing changes as it stands now.

His somehow imminent departure comes from Barcelona’s interest in Juve star Miralem Pjanic- who has been tracked by the Laliga outfits for two seasons now, and could finally find himself at Camp Nou at the end of this season.

Arthur Melo was unwilling to join Juve on the initial after his entourage announcing back in May that their client will not leave Barcelona.

However he has been offered an important role and big money promises lately to join the Seria A side in direct exchange deal for Barca target Miralem Pjanic according to The Evening Standard.

In light of that, Barcelona players are reportedly unhappy about the way their club have decided to exchange the Brazilian for the Juve star claimed by Spanish publication Cadena Ser.

In Arthur Melo-Pjanic swap deal, the front page of Friday’s edition of Diario Sport, Brazilian midfielder Arthur will join the Italian champions in a €70m deal with Pjanic going the other way in a €60m move.

Earlier this week, Diario Sport reported the Bosnian international had turned down more lucrative financial offers from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to reach an agreement contractually with the Catalan club.
