Kotoko beat 10 men Dreams FC 1-0 at Dawu to return to winning ways

Dreams FC welcomed Asante Kotoko to the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu for Week nine of the Ghana Premier League but the Porcupine Warriors run away to Kumasi with a 1-0 victory.

Kotoko showed their intention to win the game right from start, and their numerical advantage close to the end of first half made them more favorites to grab the opener but they failed to hit back of the net in the first 45’ minutes.

The Porcupine Warriors however broke the deadlock in the second half when defender Bashiru Abdul connected the ball into his own net as he tried to clear a dangerous free kick on the 68th minute.

Kotoko have now recorded their first win in three Premier League games, having drawn against Liberty Professionals and West African Football Academy in their previous two games.

They welcome Ash Gold to the Baba Yara Stadium next week for Week 10 encounter.
