Former Black Stars boss Akwesi Appiah- ‘I’m not interested in football at the moment’

Black Stars former boss Kwesi Appiah has disclosed that he is no longer interested in football despite being contacted by several teams abroad.

Appiah who was relieved off his post as Ghana head coach in December last year says he is concentrating other things outside sports.

The Ghana football legend was answering questions about his future following reports that he could return to  the touchline very soon.

“Now I am not interested in football, my concentration is on other things, although I don’t know what will happen in the future,” Kwesi Appiah said in an in an interview with Wontumi FM.

“But I don’t want to know anything about football.”

Appiah ended his second spell with Ghana in December 2019 after the GFA decided against renewing his contract.

He has also managed Sudanese top-flight side Al Khartoum Al Watani SC between December 2014 and April 2017.
