Ghanaian International Samuel Obeng signs 2-year contract extension at Real Oviedo

Ghanaian youngster Samuel Obeng has penned  a two year contract extension at Real Oviedo after the end of the Smart bank league.

The hardworking attacker was impressive with Los Azules in the just 2019/20 season after he was promoted to the senior team.

His performance convinced the club to tie him down for another two seasons.

Obeng scored three goals in 17 league appearances for the First Team in the second-tier [Segunda Division].

The Black Meteors striker will be looking to make more impact in the team come next season after promising start to life at the club.

Meanwhile, Obeng has talked about the difficulty in Segunda restart in Spain, revealing tiredness over packed league fixtures.

“It was difficult to Segunda restart because we were playing matches continuously. There was not enough time for training, and even for rest”, he told Accra 100.5 FM.

“It was different but by the grace of God I was able to play without sustaining any injury”, the young forward shared.
