Ghana Football Association International Relations Committee completes a successful maiden meeting on Friday
The International Relations Committee of the Ghana Football Association have completed its first meeting at the GFA Secretariat on Friday morning.
The meeting organized to focus on International football of the FA was chaired by President Kurt ES Okraku. Former players who had played for and were successful with the Black Stars graced the occasion during deliberations on Ghana football in the International scene.

Former captain of the Black Stars Stephen Appiah, former Bayern Munich defender Sammy Osei Kuffour together with Executive Committee member Fred Acheampong, Marwan Osei Tutu and Emmanuel Adansie of WAFA SC were all at the meeting.
The committee members were all in smile in a group picture which suggests there was a peaceful and successful session during their first meeting.

The committee is responsible for ensuring that the GFA obtains a database of all persons including but not limited to players, coaches, match officials, administrators, medical officers of Ghanaian decent excelling in all aspects of football.
The International Relations Committee will also make the right contacts and engagements with the persons to enable Ghana benefit from their skills and talents.
Other duties are to;
- Seeking the welfare of the GFA in international fora.
- Scouting for suitable and qualified Ghanaians and to advise the FA on how to prepare them for service on international football organization- CAF, WAFU,FIFA.
- And to advise the GFA on its commitment to international bodies to which the GFA is affiliated.
