Zamalek squad for Esperance second leg clash in CAF Champions League quarter-finals, Youssef Obama and Mohamed Awad included

Zamalek now head into the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals against Esperance de Tunis on Friday evening.

The CAF and Egyptian Super Cup champions hold a 3-1 advantage from the first league and are hoping to make semi-final appearance after 3 after years when they meet Esperance four days later.

Patrice Carterone has named a solid 23-man squad to ensure Zamalek get the job done in Tunis. Youssef Obama who struck first in the CAF Super Cup final against the Champions League holders has been included in the list together with Mohamed Awad who were all dropped in the first leg.

Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdy, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Ounajem, Achraf Bencharki and Mostafa Mohamed have been set on the tone for the second leg clash.

The French manager also opted to travel Mostafa Fathi and Islam Gaber while dropping Omar El-Said and Abdallah Gomaa from the team.
