Andre Ayew assists and scores sixth goal of the season as Swansea beat Luton Town

Andre Ayew was on target for a sixth time this season as Swansea City witnessed a home victory over Luton Town. 

The Black Stars captain sealed victory for Swansea in the 89th minute as the Welsh side strolled to a 2-0 win at the Liberty Stadium.

Ayew created the opener which was netted by Conor Roberts after just two minutes.

The home side created several opportunities, but had to wait till the 89th minute to add the second when Andre Ayew drove forward before firing an unstoppable strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

The 30-year-old has been in top form for Swansea this season, netting his sixth in 15 games.

The victory sends Swansea third on the table as their quest for a return to the topflight continues.
