Asante Kotoko confirmed lineup vs FC Nouadhibou CAF Champions League first preliminary second leg

Asante Kotoko have confirmed its lineup against FC Nouadhibou in second leg of the Caf Champions League first preliminary round some hours before kickoff in Accra.

The Porcupine are hoping to smash the Mauritanian giants to progress to the second preliminary round of this season’s Caf Champions League, with a likely tie against Al Hilal expected to take place late December.

The Sudanese lead 1-0 from the first leg in Uganda when experience forward Waleed Bakhet stole victory in newly refurbished St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

The clash between Al Hilal and Vipers SC kickoff tomorrow in Omdurman but in focus at the moment is when Kotoko host Nouadhibou at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon.

Maxwell Konadu made no changes to his first eleven from the first leg in Nouakchott, Mauritania. While Feix Anann haven’t recovered from injury picked in Ghana Premier League game against Berekum Chelsea, Kwame Baah is maintained in posts.

Black Stars right-back Christopher Nettey, Abdul Ganiyu, Yussif Mubarik and Imoro Ibrahim completes the back line whiles Emmanuel Keyekeh and Adom Frimpong sit deep in midfield, supported on the flanks by Godfred Asiamah on the right and Emmanuel Gyamfi on the left.

The man who gave Kotoko an early lead in the first leg Osman Ibrahim and club’s top scorer so far Kwame Opoku lead the line.
