Asante Kotoko planning to land Inter Allies striker Victorien Adebayor despite Manhyia transfer ban

Asante Kotoko may consider signing Inter Allies prospect Victorien Adebayor despite transfer ban from Manhyia Palace.

Asante Kotoko have handed internal transfer ban from club’s life patron Otumfo Osei Tutu II that prevents the Ghana Premier League from signing players for a year.

Before this new order was executed, the Porcupine Warriors had engaged to sign Latif Anabila from Ash Gold and to make Justice Blay loan move permanent.

While the life patron’s decision may have affected the Ghana Premier League side chances of completing any deal until due date, Kotoko are planning to go ahead with the two already embarked transfers.

And may also appeal to the Manhyia Palace- the headquarters of Kotoko- to sign only exceptional players and one is Victorien Adebayor.

Kotoko have loss the services of Burkina International songne Yacouba who have been one of the club’s most trusted sources of goal two years ago.

Having struggled to replace the departed Burkina International, the Premier League outfits are reportedly planning to sign Adebayor as replacement for Yacouba.

This transfer is initiated by the new Board of Directors and their appeal to sign the Inter Allies striker could earn consideration from Manhyia.
