Hearts of Oak forward Kwadwo Obeng Jr. warns with goals against Aduana Stars in outstanding Ghana Premier League game

Hearts of Oak hot prospect Kwadwo Obeng Jr. has warned to score against Aduana Stars in outstanding Ghana Premier League clash this Wednesday.

Hearts will travel to face Aduana Stars at Dormaa in what is outstanding league game after initial opening day fixture was cancelled due to coronavirus fears.

And after opening the score in Hearts’ 3-0 victory over Eleven Wonders last Sunday evening, Obeng Jr. has vow to score more goals in his side’s upcoming league game against Aduana Stars.

“My goals are still waiting for me at Dormaa Ahenkro, and I will score them”, Obeng Jr. told Kumasi based Radio Station Fox FM.

“My target for this season is to help Hearts of Oak win this year’s league, but winning the top scorer’s award will be a plus for me”.

The attacking midfielder has impressed this season, netting 3 times in 4 Ghana Premier League appearances to become club’s top scorer so far and has been linked with a move to Tanzania and Kenya.

The 21-year old grabbed a brace in Hearts’ 2-2 draw against Ash Gold and put his side ahead in victory over Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium Sunday.

The Ghana International joined Hearts of Oak in March 2018 that will see him remain with the club until 2021.

While his contract would initially expired December next year, Hearts tie him down on a long term after signing a 3 year contract in October 2020 to fend off interest from South African, Tanzania and Kenyan clubs.

It’s understood that the Ghanaian International is on Bloemfontein Celtic and Cape Town City radar and may launch a bid to sign Obeng Jr. when the African transfer window opens in January.

Tanzanian giants Young Africans and Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia are all reportedly monitoring the attacking midfielder.

The Tanzanian side signed former Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba early this year but Burkina International has struggled to make impact like his time in Ghana.

Yanga are considering making signings (strikers) from the Ghana Premier League and have already scouted Obeng jr. in Hearts’ games against Ash Gold and Dreams FC.
