BREAKING: Ghana giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak set to face each other in UK as part of Ghana’s Independence Day celebration

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are set to welcome each other in the United Kingdom (UK) as part of 2020 Ghana’s Independence Day celebration package.

According to Footballmadeinghana, Phar Partnerships, an organization led by Nana Yaw Amponsah, a contestant of GFA Presidency in the 2019 GFA Extra-Ordinary Elections, initiated and have been in contacts with stakeholders including government officials, the GFA and both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to agree on the historic pending game.

Sources close to the organizers have hinted that both clubs have agreed to the terms of this arrangement which covers visa application fees, flight costs (business class and economy ) for a 30 man contingent for each club, hotel accommodation plus an appearance fee of not less than $25,000.

Should everything go through successfully, the biggest game in the history of Ghana football shall take place in March 2020, which the game is purposely arranged to give Ghanaian football fans in and around the UK a taste of Kotoko-Hearts games.

Aside the game, a day tour to major iconic sites in London and socialization activities with Ghanaians in the United Kingdom is also inclusive of the package.

Until then, Hearts welcome Kotoko to the Accra Sports Stadium for week 6 of the Ghana Premier League in about two weeks time from today.
