Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah included in Celta Vigo squad against Real Valladolid in Laliga

Black Meteors skipper Yaw Yeboah is included in Oscar Garcia’s squad as Celta Vigo make a tricky trip to Valladolid for Laliga clash on Wednesday.

Yeboah joined Celta Vigo B at the beginning of this season and he has impressed the technical hierarchy of the Spanish side before given the chance to train with the senior squad after restart of football season in Spain.

His eye catching displays in training this week presented manager Oscar Garcia no option than to add the Ghanaian International to his squad for Laliga game against Real Valladolid tomorrow.

His country man Joseph Aidoo who appears a regular member for Vigo is also part of the Garcia’s team.

Yaboah led Ghana U-23 men national team to a fourth place in the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt after losing an Olympic Games spot to South Africa.

Before the tournament proper, his lone away goal against Algeria qualified Ghana to the tournament in Egypt.

Yeboah has made appearances for the Ghana U-20 team. He was awarded “most valuable player” in the 2015 African U-20 Championship scoring two goals. He then played in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, making four appearances and scoring two goals, both from penalties.
