Afriyie has been in impressive form for Republicans so far this season , which earned him an earlier call up to the Black Meteors.
The Republican defender was a new revelation for Tanko and his colleagues during Ghana’s preparations to the 2019 Africa U-23 Nations Cup in Egypt. But he failed to make a cut to the final squad due to multiple reasons as it’s believed.
