2021 AFCON qualifiers: Ghana confirmed lineup vs Sao Tome and Principe

Black Stars travel to face Sao Tome and Principe in the City of Sao Tome, and boss James Akwesi Appiah has made one change to his side that claimed a deserving 1-0 victory against South Africa last Thursday in Ghana.

Winger Samuel Owusu replaces Alfred Duncan in midfield, which means Owusu together with Emmanuel Boateng and Andre Ayew will complete a three man attack behind lone striker Jordan Ayew in Ghana’s second 2021 AFCON qualifier.

Thomas Partey and Baba Iddrisu play the two deep pivots, providing protection for Andy Yiadom, Kassim Nuhu, Gideon Mensah, Joseph Aidoo and Gideon Mensah in a 4-2-3-1 system whiles Richard Ofori maintains his position in posts for the Black Stars.

Ghana XI: Richard Ofori, Andy Yiadom, Joseph Aidoo, Kassim Nuhu, Gideon Mensah, Thomas Partey, Baba Iddrisu, Samuel Owusu, Emmanuel Boateng, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew
