Former GPL forward Solomon Sarfo-Taylor will not snub Hearts of Oak move despite interest in Asante Kotoko

Former Karela United FC striker Solomon Sarfo Taylor has set his heart on joining either Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak depending on which opportunity pop-up when Ghanaian transfer window reopens.

The tricky center-forward appears to be Kotoko bound having heavily been linked with a move to Asante Kotoko before sealing a move to Danish side Vendsyssel FF in August 2019.

Having failed to find home at Vendsyssel, the former Ghana Premier League star left the Danish league in January this year.

He has since remain unattached but with football returning from coronavirus suspension, Sarfo-Taylor knee returning to actionl.

He is reportedly willing to join the Ghana Premier and Asante Kotoko have become his immediate target.

Despite that, he revealed not to snub Hearts of Oak in returning to Ghana’s top flight football, if the Phobians offer him a deal to the Accra Sports Stadium.

“The truth of the matter is my dad supports Asante Kotoko and my mum supports Hearts of Oak, so I grew up supporting my dad’s team which is Asante Kotoko,” Taylor told Green Fm

“But am a professional and am open to playing for the two clubs, I have to think about my career before affiliation so if Hearts of Oak come calling why not, I will join them.”

Taylor was instrumental for Karela United in the Special Competition in 2019 as his partnership with Diawisie Taylor earned them a second place finish.

He netted once in 6 games across all competitions for his Danixh side.
