Ghanaian forward Kwame Kizito ruled out for rest of Falkenberg FF season after sustaining cruciate ligament

Ghanaian forward Kwame Kizito has been ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up an injury in Falkenberg FF’s 1-1 draw against former side BK Hacken last Monday.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker sustained a serious cruciate ligament in second half having been replaced by Nsima Peter on the 69th minute in Swedish Premier League.

The Ghanaian International had a successful scan today, but unfortunately MR images showed that the 23-year-old has suffered both a cross-band and meniscus injury.

Falkenberg FF doctor, Sverker Nilsson, confirmed the striker will be out for the rest of the campaign.

“He (Kizito) injured the front cruciate ligament and meniscus on the outside of the knee.

“Now surgery is first awaited and then rehabilitation for eight to twelve months. Unfortunately, Kwame Kizito misses the rest of the season. He is sad and does not want to speak in the media,” revealed Nilsson.

The former Hearts of Oak striker joined Falkenberg in the winter transfer window and was making his debut last night.
