Egyptian FA inflict fines on Zamalek and Al Ahly after breaching of domestic rules

The Egyptian Football Association have fine power houses Zamalek and Al Ahly following their misconduct and breaching of the FA’s rules during league matches last weekend.

Zamalek new boss Patrice Carteron failed to attend his post-match press conference following his side’s 3-2 away defeat to Tala’a El-Geish on 16th of this month. The boss was furious over the loss and few referee decisions which forced the Egyptian FA to fine him EGP50, 000.

On their rivals Ahly, they defeated Haras El-Hodood 1-0 last Sunday but they breached EFA rule after failing provide all the identification cards of their coaching staff to the referee. The League leaders have been fined to pay EGP10, 000 in respect to their action.

Meanwhile, Entag El-Harby manager Mohamed Abdallah was given a EGP40, 000 fine and a one-match ban after getting sent off during their game against Tanta.
