Sellas Tetteh: Ghana U-20 World Cup winning boss receives GHC50,000 from President Akuffo Addo
Ghana U-20 FIFA World Cup manager Sellas Tetteh has been given GHC50,000 by the President of the country in what to be used to settle medical bills, according to latest reports.
President of Ghana, H.E Nana Akuffo Addo has donated a sum of GHC50,000 to veteran gaffer, Sellas Tetteh who is currently ill and without any coaching role at the moment.
The 66 year old is known very well in the Ghanaian game, having led almost all Ghana’s national teams including a sensational achievement of guiding the Black Satellites to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup- Egypt 2009.
The former Rwandan national team coach hasn’t been feeling well for sometime now and has been pushing the GFA and the Sports Ministry to settle his unpaid bonuses after the 2009 triumph.
