Match Report: Vipers 0-1 Al Hilal Caf Champions League preliminary round first leg

Al Hilal are now in advantageous position to qualify for second preliminary round of Caf Champions League after 1-0 defeat to Vipers.

The Sudanese giants were paired against the Ugandan Premier League champions in first round but Hilal are now in good position to qualify to the second preliminary round of the Caf Champions League.

And that comes following the first leg victory over Vipers in Kitende last Saturday afternoon.

After welcoming the Sudanese side to their newly refurbished St. Mary’s Stadium, Waleed Bakhet first half stoppage time strike sink Vipers and now have a heavy mountain to climb in the second leg in Omdurman.

The winner of this clash meet Ghana Premier League outfit Asante Kotoko or giants FC Nouadhibou who the two clash tomorrow in Mauritania.
