Black Stars boss CK Akonnor reacts to unpaid salary
Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor has spoken about his remuneration which has been one standing issue since he was appointed black stars coach.
The former Ghana captain and now the gaffer of the senior national team of Ghana, Akonnor was reluctant to complain about his unpaid salaries.
Speaking in an interview, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak gaffer reacted to the issues pertaining to his remunerations as Ghana boss.
“Every Ghanaian wants to work and get paid. However, he is a Ghanaian and it is relevant for him to keep enduring without complaint, hoping to be paid one day,” h told Kumasi based Kessben FM.
The Sports Ministry have paid two months’ salary to Akonnor just before Christmas.
It’s been almost a year since he took over the Black Stars job and the employers of coach CK Akonnor and his technical staff, are yet to pay their remunerations due them.
CK Akonnor and his charges have played four matches in the helms of affairs and has a fifty per cent winning rate after winning two games and suffering two defeats as well.
